This page describes how Family Wallet collects, uses, and protects your information.

Introduction

This privacy policy applies to the Family Wallet app created by Samadhan Salunkhe as a Freemium service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

Information Collection

To facilitate cloud syncing and subscription management, we require certain personally identifiable information:

  • Email Address & User IDs: Used for account creation, secure login, and synchronization via Firebase Authentication.
  • Financial Records: Income, expenses, and budgets you enter are stored securely in Google Cloud Firestore.
  • Purchase History: Data regarding your in-app subscription status, managed securely to unlock premium features.
  • Device & Crash Data: We automatically collect IP addresses, crash logs, and diagnostics to improve performance and stability.

Third-Party Services

The application utilizes trusted third-party services that have their own privacy policies:

  • Google Play Services
  • AdMob (Advertising)
  • Google Analytics for Firebase
  • Firebase Crashlytics
  • RevenueCat (Subscription management)

Biometric Security

Family Wallet uses your device's native biometric authentication (such as Touch ID or Face ID) to secure the app locally. Biometric data is processed entirely on your device and is never collected, transmitted, or stored on our servers.

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data as long as your account is active. You can request full deletion of your account and associated financial data at any time.

  • In-App Deletion: Navigate to Account settings and select "Delete Household" and "Sign Out".
  • Email Request: Contact prasam.dev@gmail.com to request permanent data removal.

Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including TLS/SSL encryption for data transmitted to cloud servers, to protect your financial profile.

Target Audience & Children

Family Wallet is a financial utility designed for adult household managers and is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 18.
